My acrylic painting can be seen as two different styles, the local coastal themes of Mount Maunganui or the illustrative inspired by cartoons and comics. I feel that my imagery has a narrative impulse that may or may not be apparent but is essential to the pictures structure.
The scenic paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows in Tauranga and "The Mount" are a locals viewpoint of home, the natural boundary of land and sea with a mixture of imagination.
The Alice mural was a 2010 commission from a Tauranga business.
